Through the CO-EXist Program, and in partnership with the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA), the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) recently returned from leading a Colorado Cleantech Trade Mission to China to attend CIEPEC 2011. Nine Colorado companies were present at the trade show in Beijing, at which immediate sales were made and other far-reaching business relationships began.
Through the financial, informational and logistical assistance provided by the OEDIT and ITA, the participating Colorado companies engaged in over 40 substantive, pre-arranged meetings with potential business partners in the Chinese market. The nine Colorado companies in attendance at CIEPEC 2011 included AMEC, Alden, BioVantage Resources, Inc., Coolerado, Geotech Environmental Equipment, Hach Company, In-Situ, Inc., Saigene Biotech and SunTrac Solar.
