DID YOU KNOW? Some incentives for growth of jobs and small businesses. Some proposals made by Governor Ritter's Select Committee on Job Creation and Economic Growth passed, including:
House Bill 1001 - gives a tax credit to companies that bring new, high-paying jobs to Colorado.
House Bill 1035 - provides tax refunds for Colorado-based companies that do research or development for "clean and green" technology.
Senate Bill 67 - creates the Colorado Credit Reserve Program, making available $50 million in secure loans to small businesses so they can grow and thrive.
Senate Bill 171 - funds New Energy Job Training which expands community college programs that provide job training for careers in the "new energy economy."
